MICHELE YEOH EE LEEN
Michele is a registered trademark, industrial design and patent attorney who has a broad spectrum of intellectual property, information technology and corporate and commercial experience.
She has advised local and foreign clients on various IP matters such as providing them with a practical approach on their global brand protection strategies and managing their intellectual property portfolio. She has also handled domain name disputes, advised foreign and local companies on the franchising of their business systems and advised clients on being in compliance of the Personal Data Protection Act 2010.
Michele has also advised local and foreign MNCs’ on various computer and technology related contracts, notably the concession agreement with the Government of Malaysia for a valuation information system, the system implementation of a core banking system and treasury management system of a major financial institution, the co-development, technology transfer and other commercialization agreements of a future soldier radio technology as well as various off-set agreements involving other military technologies. She has also conducted IP due diligence, advised, drafted and negotiated agreements for the acquisition of a micro-array technology for Malaysian Biotechnology Corporation. Besides this, she also has experience with joint-venture agreements, collaboration agreements, share sale agreements and sale of business agreements.
